Trying to change LAN Settings doesn't work

If I go to Tools menu -> Internet Options -> Connectivity tab -> LAN Settings and try to change any of the settings it seems that nothing will save properly. I've tried clicking the check boxes and setting a proxy in the text boxes but I've had no luck.

Has anyone else run into a similar issue?
