I have a winxp bottle with Office 2007 installed in it. I tried to install IE 7 into this bottle and the installation failed. Are there any tips or tricks?
Thanks!

Erik, always try installing in a new bottle (this is the default if you use the “install software” function on a recent version of CO)
I second Agostino's recommendation to use a new bottle every time you install something. In my experience this increases stability and robustness. Only downside is that it uses more hard disk space, a tradeoff I find more than worthwhile.

Yes, I definitely could install into a new bottle -- and I will try that.
The reason why I wanted IE 7 to be installed in the bottle with Office was that it would be nice if hyperlinks from a Word document could be followed in Internet Explorer.
I'm having the same trouble, didn't matter whether I tried to install into an existing or new bottle or whether the updates checkbox was selected or not - failed every time.
I've had it fail once or twice in CXO-9 ; typically immediate retrying the operation
(try step again) resolves it and then the installation completes successfully...
