I'd actually pay for CrossOver if it could successfully allow us to access our company's IT-related tools. A lot of these IT tools companies have decided to build theirs apps using .Net so we're stuck having to use IE to manage our customers infrastructure.
(No, I'm not changing tools so don't even go there)
If we could get Crossover to successfully run IE7 - or better yet - 8 - we would have almost no reason to even bother running a VM on our Macs just to do our daily work. We could avoid the VM tearing through our 6.5hour battery life in 2.25hrs.
I've got IE7 running - but it doesn't like the HTTPS sites clearly. Often when we simply try to load the login page - https://www.autotask.net it just hangs and never loads the page. When we do trick it into loading - we enter our credentials and the login page just reloads...lol.
Anyways - keep us posted!!
