Hi,
I just installed IE7 through CX8 on my OS X 10.5.8 Macbook Pro. Installation went fine without any hitches. I installed into a new bottle and made sure to uncheck the Malicious software/Auto-update box. All other install choices were left unchanged.
After installing it, IE7 seems to run fine, but I can't seem to view any non-microsoft web pages. Whenever I enter an address like http://www.google.com IE tries to download the file and I get the following message: "Internet Explorer cannot download / from www.google.com". I can navigate Microsoft's website fine, see some pages on msn.com, and even do some searches in Bing, but most normal web pages do not seem to load. Has anyone else seen this problem? I attached a screen shot below of the problem.
Also, during my testing (< 10 min), I have gotten the program hung twice and had to quit the bottle through the CX menu and restart IE.
Thanks,
