MS Explorer 7 keeps failing to install - Mac - OS X 10.6

Hi,

I'm running OS X 10.6 on a macbook pro together with CrossOver 11.3.1.
Whatever I do installing MS IEX 7 fails.
Searching through the forum, I found
this link indicating I might need to flush the installation cache.
Doing so does not allow me to install MS IEX 7.

Next I downloaded a trial version of the most recent CrossOver and installed it aside my 11.3.1 version.
But even with this recent version the install will not succeed.

I have a backtrace log available, but can't seem to attach a file to this post?
