Hello,
with the 4.2 release, the IE still "flickers" at flash sites.
It is somewhat annoying, but works overall.
Try http://www.motogp.com and
http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/redir.dll?prd=ie&clcid=0x0416&pver=6.0&ar=home
Maybe it is because slow screen redrawing....
At an Athlon XP 2400+ with 512 MB ram it should not be an issue.
But the IE6 is actually working (rendering) better from the previous release.
At various sites visited the only perceived problem is the flicker issue, and not using the linux pdf plugin (it works if installed acroread win)
Maybe now it deserves a Silver+ rating.

i'm pretty sure this has to do with flash 7. tried it with flash 6?

Hello,
I tried a fresh cxoffice install from debian package.
It installed gnome menu entries at two different locations.
Then installed most reduced IE (it installs dcom95 also)
After, installed flash player from inside the cxoffice contro panel.

IE ignores the plugin....

When entering flashy sites like www.motogp.com , it asks for downloading the plugin.
At the cxoffice control panel, the flash player is uninstalable.
It is shown at plugins tab, and active.
How uninstall it or how to make it work?

the previous install used loki installer, and installed flash player by visiting a flashy site and answering yes to download the plugin.
