Application can't initialise - Chromebook

Hi,

Using a Acer Chromebook 14 with intel chips.

Imperial Glory simply won't start. A black window comes up and then an error message 'Application can not initialise'.

Tried messing with compatibility settings but no luck.

Any help much appreciated!
