I had some issues with Icewind Dale Complete Edition from gog.com on my MacBook Pro, 4GB, Intel HD 3000, OS X 10.7.4: When NOT using OpenGL in the Icewind Dale config, it was impossible to play in full screen mode, as the rendering was broken. When using OpenGL, you cannot finish the prologue as the game crashes when attempting to autosave.
I got the rendering in non-opengl mode fixed by adding the following lines to user.reg of the wine bottle:
[Software\Wine\Direct3D] 1335657893
"DirectDrawRenderer"="gdi"
The default renderer is opengl, which seems to cause issues in full screen mode with newer version of OS X.
