HyperResearch 4.0

Hi,
I recently installed HyperResearch 4.0 in my Kubuntu 17.10 system running Crossover Linux.

Since there is no installation "recipe" for HyperResearch yet, I did some experimentation and installed it into a Windows 8 64x bottle.
The installation completed very quickly with no errors reported.

I am still testing HyperResearch 4.0 in Crossover, but so far, I have not encountered any errors.

I'll look forward to other's experiences.

HyperResearch 4.0 is a qualitative data analysis application (QDA) for coding and analysis of text, video and audio data. There are several companies offer QDA application, but HyperResearch stands out because of its relatively low cost, its excellent non-restrictive license that allows users to install it on several machines and run it as a portable app, and for the company's outstanding support. I usually receive answers to my questions within a day.

I have searched the Codeweavers list of software for other QDA programs AtlasTI, Nvivo, and MaxQDA but none of these are reported to work in Crossover.

In the months since I tested HyperResearch 4 on Kubuntu 18, I have switched operating systems to Manjaro Linux.

I have used HyperResearch 4.0, 4.01, 4.02. 4.03 in Manjaro and can report the software operates well. There were some bugs running in Crossover with HyperReserach 4.0, but ResearchWare fixed them as soon as I reported the problems. Hyperresearch 4.03 seems to work flawlessly.

As far as my tests showed as of 2019 September, none of the other QDA applications will run properly in Crossover or Wine.

If you need QDA software and want to run Linux, HyperResearch is outstanding.

I have tested HyperResearch 4.5.3 on Crossover and found that the fonts are not appearing which makes the software impossible to use.
However, HyperResearch 4.5.3 runs perfectly in Bottles (https://github.com/bottlesdevs/Bottles). This suggests the problem with using HyperResearch in Crossover is the result of problems within Crossover itself and is not the result of incompatibilities within HyperResearch.

I hope CodeWeavers will resolve the problems with Crossover soon!
