As part of the Great American Lame Duck Challenge, I installed my copy of 7.1.0 this morning and installed Cataclysm. Installation went fine, and when I started the app the two trailers look great. However, it never made it to the main menu screen, instead crashing and exiting without warning.
Any one else got this to work?
A bit late, but the patched game works fine, best results are in OpenGL mode, although its forced into window. No problems so far on Crossover Games 8.0
What bottle did you use? I tried Win98 and XP without any luck. Installs, but won't start. Icon shows up in dock, but that's it. Any suggestions? Thx.
Edit: Formulka, how did you install the patch? Was it already on the disc (a later copy of the game)?
