Hi,
I purchased crossover today with the hope of playing Heroes of Might and Magic V on my mac. I downloaded the crosstie from PaulTheTall and began to follow the steps to install the game using crossover. I used the HOMM Collection on PC DVD ROM and managed to get the core game, Hammers of Fate and Tribes of the East expansions installed perfectly.
However, upon loading the game I encounter 'H_5 exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close'.
I understand the game works fine from GOG.com but I am reluctant to purchase it as I already own a copy, albeit on disc.
Any ideas how to get the game working?
