Launches in CrossOver Mac beta 2 (didn't in beta 1), and seems fully functional. It is however very choppy at all times. Display jumps one frame about every half seconds, and both ai thinking and my own actions are dead slow.

Tried it again today. The game is still a little slow, and has some graphic glitches, but is certainly playable.
I have tried Heroes III with Crossover 6.2.1 for Mac, and while the game itself will not run (Crossover doesn't recognize the CD), the Map Editor and Campaign Editor do---and very well, at that. Tested on a MacBook Pro.
Both are running in Crossover 7. Auto install doesn't work, but individually installing each (hereos 3 and 4) does work. Heroes 3 plays well. Heroes 4 has the menu bar present on the top, and the same amount of space "below the screen" on the bottom.
