Problems installing this game

I just bought this game on GOG but Crossover is having a hard time installing it.
First the installer wants to install some Microsoft components and then something called GOG galaxy. Then it freezes.
I have tried skipping these parts but then I am left with an empty bottle.
What is the trick to install this game?

You can run this game natively on macOS by using vcmi

The game should install correctly if you download the offline GOG installer.
