It used to work great until recent update
may be battle.net issue

to resovle this:

1. open "Wine Config" of the container
2. click "libraries" tab
3. find d3d11, click "edit"
4. choose "Native then Builtin", click OK

thanks for your reply it did help me fix it

native setting didnt matter at the beginning because installer resets it everytime you launch it
so I had to confirm it when battlenet installer was running - and then it worked

anyway I still had to install core fonts because battlenet helper was crashing all the time

and also the game starts black without "-force-d3d9" command line argument

I'm still getting some error when exiting the game but its playable

[s]another update:
on first succesfull launch of the game client there is an error on exit
it corrupts something and next time game client opens with black screen (just mouse cursor and sound)

I've been fixing this with game settings reset option in battle.net every time before game launch

today I discovered a "fix" for this by changing options.txt to read-only
(.cxoffice/Hearthstone/drive_c/users/crossover/Local Settings/Application Data/Blizzard/Hearthstone)
*game won't save settings after this change

may be usefull for somebody[/s]
I was wrong. Problem still appears
