Sound problems since 14.0.0

After an upgrade from 13.2 to 14.0 and reinstallation to a new bottle (because the bottle from 13.2 wouldn't start the applictaion), I'm getting some serious sound problems. All the sound sounds like it's "under water" or gargling. This never happened with 13.2 which had some graphics problems but sound was nice and clean. Any ideas?
