New blizz patch/expansion breaks Hearthstone

Since this mornings Blizzard update Hearthstone no longer works. Game launches but times out connecting to their servers.

Any workarounds?

Are you sure the servers are not simply over-saturated? Not the first time Blizz launches something and severs get hammered.
