Just managed to get into the EU beta and I'm happy to report that the game has been working with no major issues. One minor thing I found was that changing from fullscreen to windowed and changing the resolution may leave the window un-clickable. Just cycle to another workspace and back again. This should fix the issue without needing to restart the game.

No need for magic, just install the
Battle.net Desktop App (there is a crosstie for it) and when you get a key redeem it from your b.net account. The game should appear as installable once the key was redeemed. Click the install button, wait for the download to finish and click the big Play button.

For those that care about such things, yes, the game is made with Unity 3D.

The screenshots I've submitted have been approved and can be found in the relevant tab.

If I may ask, what os bottle did you install this in? I attempted to install twice the hearthstone beta with both a winxp and a win 7 bottle. Post authentication with battle.net, it started to download and then crashed about 45 seconds into the download on both attempts.

Install the Battlnet Desktop App using the crosstie on this page: Battle.net Desktop App After authenticating you should be able to download the game and play.

The crosstie includes a dll override that fixes the crashing.

Hearthstone™ Update—Open Beta

We have some other news to share too. As of today, we have sent beta
invites to everyone who opted in to the Hearthstone closed
beta test prior to Monday, December 16.

So, after redeeming the serial key from your Battle.net account, grab the Battle.net Desktop App, download and play the game :)

According to this post, people that have opted in to the HS beta until Jan 7th should all have received keys:

Check your emails folks. Once you've redeemed the key you can use the crosstie to download and install the game.

I have noticed that the 13.1.2 and 13 CrossTie profiles point to the beta download locations. Shouldn't they be updated to point to the retail locations? Then the 13 profile would no longer need to warn that they point to the beta.

Also I noticed there's no download page information though it seems like Hearthstone has various download pages. Having a download page can be useful for users in case the installer URL changes:

You may be absolutely right but since this is now officially supported by you guys, I don't have access to modify the crosstie. I'm quite happy I don't have to maintain it any more tbh :D (I have too many crossties)
