Halo 2 XP port works?

Does anyone know whether the XP port of Halo 2 works on Crossover? (I know the vista version of H2 doesn't)

I tried with a retail disk and the XP port, and I am able to install the program but not run it.

It should be noted that I have also had mixed success with the port on native Windows computers, one ran it well and the other displayed a black screen.
