Half Life is Installed, doesn't launch

I installed Half Life using Steam. Steam says it's launching Half Life, but then nothing happens. I'm using crossover on Ubuntu 8.0.4. Any ideas?

It turns out it'll let me launch it in steam. I was trying to open up the shortcut. So it's all good.
