Mouse Clicking Behavior Causes Crash

If you hold down the right mouse button and quickly click the left mouse button - with short to no delays between clicks - it causes a double-click event that crashes/exits the game. The person 'ken' from IRC can confirm this issue.

P.S. Awesome support and great product! =)

Experinced this and is easily reproducible

I can confirm this problem, we have created a bug for it.

I have searched for the patch that fixes this problem in the current development code and built a fixed library. You have to install the file manually though. The fix is for CrossOver 6.2.

1) Go to dl.codeweavers.com, use the access key hl2fix
2) Download the user32.dll.so file for your platform(Mac or Linux)
3) Copy the file into the crossover installation directory.

On mac, right click on the Crossover program icon, and select "Show Package Content". Go to Contents->SharedSupport->Crossover->lib->wine, and place the file there.

On Linux, Crossover is most likely located in /opt/cxoffice or ~/cxoffice/. Put the file into lib/wine

Please do not file support tickets with the modified Crossover. If you have a problem for which you want to file a ticket, please restore a clean CrossOver installation.

When I got to dl.codeweavers.com and use the key "hl2fix", it redirects me to /index.cgi/hl2clickfix but there are no files listed in the table.

Oops, looks like something doesn't work in our download server. I'll ask our admin next monday. In the meantime you can use "hl2fixl" for Linux and "hl2fixm" for Mac, those work for me.

I love you guys! It's fixed! You guys really offer great support. Thank you. =)

Can confirm bug is currently not showing with fix applied
