Hi every one. ive just started using crossover for playing half life 2. im really pleased with it but i have a few question to ask before i purchase it. the first one is video calls that you are meant to see during the game dont show at all. also water just comes up as a black flat surface. it does how ever show water on the main menu. i have messed with all the graphics settings but i cant get them to work. also on the trail version does it stop working after about 30 mins? or is another problem altogether? thanks for your help.

These are all issues that are hopefully going to be fixed in CrossOver 6.1. I assume you are using the Mac as the 30 minute crash is a side effect of memory management on the Mac. You can work around this by setting -dxlevel 70 on the launch options for HL2. See the "Known Issues" tab above for help on that.

The in game monitors are already fixed in our development builds, the water is also working much better. No ETA on 6.1 at this time, but it should be sometime in the next month or so, pending any show stopper issues.

It seems to me that ceiling reflex on floors are not correct. I have a Radeon X1900xt and it is like floor reflex alway a standard cube ceiling.

Yeah, that is a known minor issue. That still happens currently in the latest builds.
