~Please~ leave the game description details as they are..

I do know folks only mean well by doing it -- they see the brief details
on the main page here and think that doesn't say enough, about what arguably
is and will remain one of the greatest and innovative computer games ever
made. We all know this, and in the future human beings will pass on genetic
memories to their young with the name Gordon Freeman embedded therein...

I think what happens eventually, is C4 has a bit of a headcrab moment when
the contents of the description field start looking like a book, and then
all of a sudden things get expurgated and you end up with a short two line
description field terminated by a set of trailing dots.......

If you read, please keep this in mind -- I've just realigned the description
field (with a few locale translations) so it all "says something common across
4 languages" ... but don't add to these if you've no objections -- add other
language translations for sure, but the rest of the time this field should
attempt to be a 'brief description' not a book 8) Write the book here in the
forum about why this title is the greatest game on earth, even when using CXG
to do it....

😎

Cheers!

I do not mind the description changes but please change the titles back to "Half-Life (Steam)" and "Half-Life 2 (Steam)" as the Steam versions are the only versions supported by CXG.

Oh...so you don't have the disc based version? There is a reason for dropping the
(Steam) tag -- it has to do with a future site update & some c4p stuff. You maybe
misunderstand the meaning of the tag -- it has nothing to do with whether a title
is officially supported or not (Andrew Balfour & myself have been studiously killing
(Steam) tags for a few weeks now)....
