Hello everyone,

I've managed to install and run Half-Life 2 on an M1 MacBook Pro on Steam via Crossover and, while it runs fine, there are strange rendering issues.
It is a Windows 10 64-bit bottle in which I've also installed DirectX for Modern Games and DXVK.

I have linked a few images showing the issue which, sadly, makes the game unplayable to me.

HL2 don't use dx11 so you can disable DXVK

I disabled DXVK but it didn't have any effect on the rendering issues. Any other ideas?

For anyone out there reading this and wondering about or having the same issue; according to CodeWeavers support, this is a bug and they are aware of it. Here is the response I received:

'Thank you for all the information. Turns out, this is a bug. Other users are having the same issue. I was able to replicate the same problem and have filed a bug report to have it investigate, but won't have immediate solution at this time. I have attached the bug number to this email.'

Hopefully this gets fixed in the future!
