Texmod

Hi,

first I want to thank you for making it possible for us to play GW at this quality with few compromises. I love the "semi-full-screen" that allows me to run it as an almost full screen, but still have the OS X bar on the top. Great feature! The only setback is that it isn't compatible with exposé when it's run like that, but that's not a major issue. Now for my question.

Is there anyone else who have tried running Texmod with GW under Crossover?
The program in itself runs fine and it actually tries to start GW if you hit "run", but then it says that it's already running or that there is some other cind of problem.
Does Crossover stop other programs from modifying the texture files in another program and is that the cause of this error?
And if it is, is it possible to turn it off or make Texmod any other way?

Because GW runs so perfectly I have uninstalled boot camp (with much joy) and now it would be a pain to install it again just to use this.

Thanks for an amazing product and great support here on the forums.

Regards,
Ted

I've tried to run Texmod with GW and experienced the same thing. If I load Texmod but do NOT select any packages to load and just tell it to load GW directly the application works just fine. It is only when you select a package that it doesn't work as you indicated.

I haven't figured a way around it either :).

Didn't even try that, but I must say, it's very odd. :P

But it gives me hope that there is a short fix... Somehow.

I love my mac, and I love Guild Wars ! But I would like to run texmod... It would be such a pain to have to install Bootcamp to run texmod. Can this problem be fixed ? 😋

I have an open ticket from a little while ago, but texmod falls into the unsupported app category so I doubt it'll be fixed anytime soon which is unfortunate as I use texmod a lot as well.
