GW should run fine on your machine, apart from some extremely minor graphic glitches that occur only under certain circumstances; which is a problem all of us share & is not worth worrying about.

The only problem which still is a problem for some of us more than others, is that the player can loose their mouse all together from time to time, which is a real game breaker when it happens, as you have to close the game with the top right hand cross & restart GW to get out of that one.

As far as your speed problems are concerned, have a look at the Tips & Tricks
tab in the top right of this screen, you may find help there.

I'm using OSX Leopard on a first alu' model 24" iMac, with 1MB RAM & ATi Radeon HD2600 Pro, with 256MB RAM at 1920x1200 full screen resolution & any form of lag is an extremely rare occurrence & is due to the internet NOT my machine. My machine is only slightly more powerful than yours, BUT I'm also using a huge screen resolution.

I have all graphics options maxed out in GW options, BUT I use no Anti-Aliasing & I have "Use best texture filtering" turned OFF.

Best I can do for you, perhaps someone with your same machine will offer more concise help for you. It's worth persevering with as GW really does play & look fantastic via Crossover/Games on the intel Mac's.

Good luck. :)

the performance is perfect, its just the graphics at the moment

I have all the graphics settings to fastest but it still looks like this
