What have you tried? Select Options from the menu, select the Graphics tab, and select a full-screen resolution. Does that not work?
I have this problem too. I'm running OS X 10.4.11 on a Macbook Pro.
With Crossover games 7.1 I could run in my native resolution 1440x900 in fullscreen just fine. When I updated to 7.2, now it opens in the proper resolution as if it were fullscreen but it is in fact not. The global menu bar covers the top of the game.. every time I try to use icons at the bottom of the screen my dock pops up and interferes.
I went under options in the game and made sure it wasn't set to windowed mode, and that it was in fact on 1140x900 fullscreen setting. Then I went into manage bottles and ran wineconfig and made sure it wasn't simulating a desktop. It wasn't.
Something interesting to note: If I run fullscreen under any other resolution other than 1440x900, it goes into 'proper' fullscreen as it should (no dock or menu). It only seems to have issues for 1440x900. Also, it does this now with all of my games, not just Guild Wars.
Has some default setting for something possibly been reset that I overlooked? Or is there something I can put in the command line to force fullscreen? If you need to know anything about what hardware I'm running, let me know and I'll post everything I know ASAP.
Are you sure you set the resolution to 1440x900? There's another resolution, 1440x879, which is MacOS' "desktop" resolution that has the title bar and the dock. If you set the res to 1440x900 the problems you describe should go away.
It was definately on 1990x400... I loaded a movie earlier today and found that the menubar was screwed up with my dvd player as well. It turns out the culprit was a program called 'menufela' causing issues with other applications. As soon as I uninstalled it, everything went back to normal.
My apologies, crossover is in fact working EXACTLY as it should.
