I´ve got a PC an installed a Hackintosh. (don´t worry i´ve a Macintosh too. hackintosh is only project caused by boredom).
the interesting thing is that guildwars runs in 6.1 on my hackintosh with all sounds. and once or twice in fullscreen too. (that was after playing fullscreen in windows, rebooting and playing without -windowed).

the soundcard i used is a onboard realtek hda from the Asus P5W DH Deluxe board.

Can I ask what video card you're using on the hackintosh?

i got a EAX1900XT with 512MB from Asus .. (means a radeon x1900xt)

I've got the same video card, albeit, an ATI model.

I'm also on a hackintosh, but using an iMic USB sound card for sound.

I haven't been able to properly test how the sound works, as the game locks up everytime I enter a mission. I did manage to do some questing by removing the -noshaders switch, but as most of us seem to know, that got rid of the hair and some of the heads of my party. I don't know if it was related, but the sound were gone as well... battle sounds and ambient sounds... the music still played as I walked around.

I'm really hoping the Crossover team can get this game working, as it's the only thing I'm keeping my XP install around for, and it's a real pain to reboot just for the one program. ;)

The next version will work a great deal better for GW. ;=)
