I am able to login fine but when i try to load an outpost it takes 45min-1hour to load. Is there a way i can fix this?

How did you install the game? if you didn't install it via the cd/dvd, the game downloads the required data on demand. The data is then stored for later use. You can pre-download all data at once with the -image flag. Beware, as it will download all game data, including useless one, such as campaigns you do not own.
