Problem with keyboard and "Allow the window manager to control the window" setting

Hi all.

I disabled the "Allow the window manager to control the window" to try and get rid of the gnome menu that pops up when I use alt and right click in-game, however this has resulted in my keyboard not working in game, which is of course a problem :P

I've had to re-enable the setting to keep playing.
