It seems to install and then, when I accept the EULA, it immediately pops an error:

I already tried the regedit to set video memory size. No luck there either

Same here, I have got this problem since BW2 to BW3 . I can ran the game sometimes if I spam logging in. however, most of them error. If I can get in the game, the graphic and randomly crash issues are still around.

Are you on a Mac or Linux system? What version are you running?

Do you have a log file from CrossOver regarding the crash?

Having this same issue--running an early 2011 MacBook Pro on Mountain Lion (which is when all my problems began) and getting that error and the video card unsupported error, even though I have an Intel 3000 graphics card. I think I fixed it before, but during the most recent BWE it crashed and now it won't start. Either getting a "failed to activate core graphics" error, or this one.

Same exact problem.

After I accepted the Conditions the game crashes after few seconds.

I use a macbook pro with Leopard and the special version of crossover for GW2 (Ver 11.2.0.26253). I have already tried all the general tricks and suggestions in this forum, changed the registry key in Wine etc...

In general, the "special" GW2 builds are not needed any longer - you should be able to run with our regular shipping CrossOver 12.1.2. I don't know whether that will fix your particular crash, but it is worth trying. (If you install our latest version and CrossOver doesn't see your GW2 bottle, post back here and we can help.)

If you don't have a support license for CrossOver 12, and that's why you're still using an older 11 version, you could try using a trial version from our site to see whether it improves anything.

Ahh, indeed.

Maybe there is some fix or tweak which will help you, but on the older, unsupported build, I'm not sure how much we'll be able to do ;(

One thing: you might be able to try running 11.3.1 - that had raw input support, which was part of what was needed to make Gw2 run. It lacks hacks for the in-game Gem Store, and it won't automatically pass the '-dx9single' flag to the Gw2.exe executable, so you'll need to do those things by hand, but it may somehow "magically" offer different behavior.

Again, though, it's a shot in the dark.
