Sound screeching

Hi guys, i havent seen anyone comment on this so i thought id ask if you can help me reproduce this one.

After some time playing with my headset plugged in, i decided to take it out and chill out hearing some music while letting my ears breathe.
A bit after taking the headphone out of the plug, my computer made a really loud banshee-like high pitched screech.
Sound went back to normal and all was well.

I decided to try and reproduce and did the same trick.
Headphones in. Open GW2. Pull headphones out. Muffle ears to avoid deafness.
Bingo, same screech.

Can you guys test it out?

Also, as a sidenote i have Soundflower installed (its the one thing that also messes with my mac sound).
Running an Early 2009 iMac model.

This is a known issue. Very basically, you are changing the output of sound and confusion ensues on your system. The issue is most notable on start-up of Guild Wars & Guild Wars 2 as a short burst of static before the actual game sounds start. Noted in our system as bug numbers 9675 & 8857 (and noted with bug number 8858 as a long discussion about how to improve audio on a Mac).

I will forward this in to open a Support Ticket regarding the issue as this particular behavior needs better documentation than what we have.
