Hi - I'm new to the Crossover thing, but am excited to try and get it running. I downloaded the new special build and was able to get the GW2 installer up and running. No black screen, etc. Just wanted to let you know that, for me, it's still crashing every ~10K files. A new box pops up which says "The program Guild Wars 2 has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. This may be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in Wine ..." I click close on that box, then have to Run the GW2setup again.

Yup. This is the same for everybody trying to download using Crossover/Wine.
It is annoying, but at least it eventually finishes.

I was just noting this because the new crossover build was supposed to re-start automatically:

"- Don't worry about re-starting the installer due to failed downloads. That will happen automatically. "

And mine hasn't been.

Ahhh, I actually didn't know there was a new new build. I have a previous unsupported build :S which still does the 10,000 file crash.
Make sure that Crossover is set NOT to automatically update or automatically update the Crosstie menu as is mentioned in the post with the build.
Try redownloading that build and replacing your current one, see if it works then?
