So, I'm having an issue that I haven't heard of yet on the forums when trying to DL GW2.
What is happening is when I try to install with the Run Command /path/to/GW2.exe -dx9single
The launcher loads, but remains at 0KB and 0KB/s
When I try to use my browser, or anything else, the launcher pulls to the front of all my programs, but never changes.
No idea what is going on or how to fix this. Any one having a similar issue or know what is going on? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Guild Wars 2 is currently having server issues. People are unable to connect to servers, unable to login to the client, and the client is unable to run. If your client loads, shows nothing downloading, then displays, "Connection error(s) detected. Retrying..." then it probably isn't a problem with CrossOver, but a problem that Windows users are experiencing as well. Even if your connectivity issue displays differently, it still is likely to be ArenaNet having server issues.
On the Guild Wars 2 official Facebook fanpage, there have been posts concerning the connectivity issues; they're working on it.
