Been having this issue since this morning, noticed 2 others on the forum are experiencing the same issue. Anyone figure out what to do here?
I've tried the additional commands in the run command, as well as disabling my AV/Firewall.

This is happening to me too and is driving me insane. I have been trying to fix this for hours and hours. Boot camping my computer, this program and everything in between.
The client downloader just quits and disappears for no reason.
I really want to be on for launch, but now I just don't see it happening ;(
ArenaNet has admitted to having server issues. People on Windows are unable to connect as well. ArenaNet has stated that they are working to correct the server issues.
Have you already downloaded the game? Or is that just happening now?
This is happening to me as well, I've restarted it multiple times until my current point where I've downloaded 15.4 gigs of the gw.dat file. From what I've been able to find on the web it seems most people's dat files are 15.4 gigs large. However, after continuously trying to use the run command from this point on, my dat file isn't getting any larger and the 0kb (0kb/s) screen still isn't changing.
I am at a loss here...I previously got the unable to connect to server error while the servers were down, but now that they're back up I'm not seeing any progress. What am I missing?
Well, I'm still having the same issue with crossover, but have been able to successfully log into the game, and make a character using parrallels.
Has anyone found a fix to this yet? I was hearing it was the server errors, but now the servers are up and I still can't get it to work.
I have been having the same problem this morning. I had minimized my launcher window using the Crossover menu bar so I could browse the forums and just let it run even though it was not showing any progress. After about 5 or so minutes I got a crash window from the launcher. I went to run it again and noticed that the gw2.dat file had actually grown to 980MB. While it was running the second time I watched WineLoader process in the Activity Monitor and saw it keep growing until it crashed again and then the gw.dat file would grow again.
So regardless of what it looks like it is apparently actually doing something. You might try looking at some of the things above to verify if yours is doing anything or not. So far I am only at about 4GB so I don't know if this will be the final fix for me or not.
Good luck!
Some of us have the game fully downloaded, but I still get the 0/0KB message when I try to run the program. I'm not really sure what to do. Have tried multiple commands including -image and -dx9single, but still just gets stuck at 0/0 KB downloading.
I've played a bit on my other laptop, and I know the launcher changes from the screen shown in Marvin's post, but it will not go to that new launcher.
I left my laptop running to see if I would get an error or an Areanet message while I took a nap, but no to either. When I woke up, it was still at the 0/0KB Downloading screen.
I have been reading through the forum pages to see if this was a problem before, but it seems to only be happening post pre release.
If anyone one has any idea how we can fix this I would really really appreciate it.
I'm one of the unlucky few who hasn't even got GW2 running on my MacBook Pro yet. Thanks in advance for any tips.
