System's video card unsupported hardware device....

I'm not sure how common this problem is with other people but it seems to be my main problem. I've been trying to use Gw2.exe and the run command with -useoldlauncer, -dx9single, and -image and everytime i try to download the game, the message pops up about my video card being unsupported blah blah blah. What does this mean and does anyone know the fix?

I'm not sure 100%. But have you actually checked if your video card is supported and can run Pixel Shader 3.0?

Also. Remove -useoldlauncher from the command line, it no longer works and Anet has removed it. -dx9single makes the new launcher work just fine though so leave that in and hopefully it will work.

Mine actually does the same thing, and I'm not sure if there is a fix for it. I'm running with and Intel HD 3000 right now.

I believe the fix involves downloading the graphics/video drivers for our card, and some how getting them into the bottle, but I'm not sure how to do that yet, and I don't want to muck anything up.

If anyone knows the solution for the Intel HD 3000, Card does not meet system requirements error, could you post a fix w/ detailed instructions here?

It would be greatly appreciated especially since head start is tonight. :)

Oh i am not sure but there is another thred Minimum System Requirements--Video Card and the User marco Notarangelo posted that he has a Intel HD 3000 too, (in some logs) and that he wrote:

Ok i've done some working here and there.. the problem is not that
wine can't identify the graphic card... it's something else... not
sure about what though..
Edit: Installing VideoDriver should fix the graphic card
identification problem.

Edit: Oh and did you follow the Tips and Tricks - Video Memory Size - Setting? I am not sure but i suppose you got a false card-information when you have none or wrong setting there.

Last Edit: I am not sure if this is important but i have more then one Screen with different resolutions and i have to use the Window-Mode. Not the Guild Wars 2 implemented one.

Thanks for the advice, it seems that worked for that issue. But now the loading screen freezes it appears and is stuck on "Downloading 0KB (0kb/sec)". Any suggestions for that?

^^ I actually started having the same problem this morning.
I was getting the video card error as well, but now it just doesn't download.
