Playing on a Mid 2010 MacBook (not pro)

I am really looking forward to Guild Wars 2. I have a Windows machine I use for gaming but when I play with my daughter I play on my MacBook and she plays on the gaming machine.

I see @Mason has tried the game on a Mid 2010 MacBook and had success (http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=7951;forum=1;msg=128352). Anyone else? How is the gameplay quality? I've read through the current bug list and while they look significant I don't think they are enough for me to either not play or buy another windows machine for gaming.

Hey. I have a 2011 MBP so whilst not the same its most likely similar.
What kind of graphics card do you have? NVIDIA or ATI. Thats probably the biggest decider of quality.
I don't personally own a machine with an NVIDIA card but from the bug list they seem to produce the most errors (such as gray fog around your character, rain causing really bright white splotches and underwater gameplay not rendering properly).
ATI cards (of which I have two) have less invasive issues, grass flickers blue on occasion and some textures have little black x's all over them (which ends up looking slightly intentional so its fine xD) and there is some texture stretching but by following the guide here on CrossOver you can eliminate the in-game stretching (character creation stretches unless you click "hide armour"

What are the specs of your computer and how has it been running in the past few stress tests? I have been running mine on a 2010 MacBook Pro 13" but under Windows because I couldn't get it to install under CrossOver due to the black box issues and this is my first (and probably my last) stress test. It ran extremely well, minus the constant lag, which is expected in a stress test.
