I believe some people have been able to get this one to work in WineHQ Wine, as it seemed to use OpenGL instead of Direct3D (which GTA3 used).
This game runs great in Cedega btw.

It also runs great in Wine! And for over a year now 😊
The install should work in CX now btw...........

I have got GTA 1 London expansion pack to work as well as GTA III.
GTA London uses securom so it works out of the box.. To get GTA III to work I had to use a No-CD patch.
If you want to run GTA III in a window set it as 640x400 or it will bomb.
This isn't a CX bug its a game bug btw.....

You try the GTA III 1.1 patch. It should remove the copy protection completely.
Thanks, If I can get it to work without a patch ill submit a couple screen shots and update the Known Issues/Tips page.
