Grand Theft Auto V Legacy Edition Forum

I'm running GTA V on a 14' MacBook Pro (M2 Max 32G+1T) in macOS Ventura 13.4.1 with CrossOver in version 22.1.1; I downloaded it yesterday, and it ran pretty smoothly overall. Yet when I tried to enter story mode this morning, the program crashed and went straight back to Steam.

There is no issue running Steam and Rockstar Game Launcher/Social Helper. I launched the game on Steam, and it entered the main menu as usual. But as I tried to enter story mode, I was on the loading menu for a minute or two, and then it crashed. There's no log popping out; the game just crashed and went back to Steam.

Anybody got an idea about this?

Figured out the solution myself. Just need to lower the graphics quality in the settings first. I'd say medium quality-ish, and then the story mode will boost up as usual.
