*GTA 5/ Online crashing/ freezing on Steam Crossover Mac, after 5 minutes of opening the application. I am using 1152 800 resolution, Direct X 11, and graphics settings on "Normal". At first, I was opening the game in Windows 7, 64 bit bottle, but felt that maybe the bottle is corrupt. So, created a new Windows 10, 64 bit bottle and reinstalled GTA 5. But I am still encountering the same issue. GTA Online opens and stutters a bit for 5 minutes and then either freezes or crashes. Have been encountering this problem since the past 4-5 days. Would be really grateful if you can help me in countering this issue. I have a Mac Book Pro with M1 chip and it's a widely known fact that M1 macs can easily run GTA 5/ Online using Crossover. Looking forward to your response and serious help. **

Same problem for me GTA offline works fine but GTA Online crashes after 10 mins of gameplay, sucks cause I only want to play online.
Tried everything
Changed dx version
enable/disable dxvk
reinstalled the game
tried different versions of heroic
problem is definitely with crossover it seems like now
tho checked heroic logs it said

Idk what it supposed to mean but problem started after this update it seems like.

I reached out to CodeWeavers about this because I had the same issue and they said it is a known issue, possibly related to the October 2022 Anti-Cheat alterations that Rockstar made. It is important to keep in mind that things like this happen when running games outside their native environments and that updates, no matter the size, can cause compatibility/performance issues. CodeWeavers has said they are investigating the issue. Things like this can take time to resolve especially when CodeWeavers is working on more than just GTA V, patience can go a long way.

"Currently Grand Theft Auto V/Online has an issue affecting the game's performance to the point where the title may crash completely after several minutes of play. The issue may be related to updates Rockstar Games made to the title in late October, where they may have updated their anti-cheat or a similar component alongside a content update and it is causing the game to perform very poorly. We have a bug filed and it is being investigated so a fix can be issued, but currently we do not have a workaround to provide."

Has anyone found a solution yet?
I miss to play GTA 5 online :(
