Game starts but my MAC freezes after "new game" and splash screen

Hi all,

i installed GTA3 without any problem and it launches directly. After starting a new game i see a splash screen and the "Airport..." screen. Then my mac starts freezing and that's it. I run the 7.1.1 version of Crossover Games on Macbook Pro and uptodate MacOSX. Any suggestions?
