I see many linux pictures/topics, but not many mac. will it work on mac?

Hi,

The CD version works fine on my 11,2 iMac once the
official update patch is applied (to remove a portion
of the disc based DRM) -- this is all done for you if
you install the CD version via the c4p profile provide
here. Beyond that, I cannot say, and if there are any
other versions/releases of this title 'out there' (ie;
digital download etc), they should work in theory,
however sometimes this is not the case.

Flatout would be a good example here -- the disc based
release(s) contain disc based DRM, and these won't work
on the Mac ; the GOG.com release of the same game works
in linux but not in OSX ; the Steam release of Flatout
runs fine on both platforms (go figure ;)...

Just FYI, excepting case like this where there's an
official patch to remove the disc based DRM, generally
speaking it's best to avoid disc based releases of games
when using Crossover (Games) Mac, due to the OSX scsi
driver design ; pretty much all disc based DRM does not
work on Mac for this reason...
