Just did a fresh install with CXG Mac 8.0. Now the game fails to launch and gives me an access violation error. Also get a message saying that Vdfs32g.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close.
EDIT: Did a D3D install, and the access violation error seems to be gone, but the Vdfs32g.exe message is still there. The game launches and plays anyway, though.
Hi, I also got very frenquetly this error at launch with CXG Linux 8.0. Apparently it doesn't prevent the game to run properly and you can even rename Vdfs32.exe into Vdfs32.exe.bak to get rid of the error.
