doesn't allow you to connect and freezes when attempting to (even xkill doesn't effect it)

It installs fine under 98/2000 as you said, and launches perfectly. It still doesn't allow you to connect, but mine did not freeze like it did in 4.2. If it seems like its frozen, move the Google Talk window after a little bit. A window will appear saying Unable to Authenticate to Server. If you can't close it, go down to the system tray icon, and hit exit. That should close it.
yeah i figured out the system tray thing can't believe xkill doesn't effect it
the gui looks perfect (unlike itunes with its 2 title bars)
its just a connection issue i think
I proclaim that it is working perfectly for the GUI part, yet it is impossible to connect.
I do experience a thing similiar to a crash as well. The application still runs, and I do not have any defunct wine processes running, yet it is impossible to further interact with the application.
Cheers'
I bet its a connection issue. As far as I know, Google Earth can't connect either. I think it's affecting Google apps that need to connect to the Google servers.
