Lamps don't work?

Apparently not. When I try to change the color or design of the lamp, it always just casts a white beam of normal light (it's the effects/flashlight one). Anyone know of a fix? I am running the 8.1.4 version of CrossOver and Max OS X Version 10.6.3 if it helps.
