I know how to add mods... infact gmod 8 works considerably better than gmod 10 on mac.... but i dont know how to add maps. i can do it on the pc no problem, but i dont know how to access all of the folders on the mac where i am supposed to put the files to add maps.
If someone knows how to add maps to gmod on a mac please tell me how to do so.

You just navigate to the steam folder ~/Library/Application Support/Crossover Games/drive_c/Program Files/Steam

You left out "Bottles/<bottle name>/" between "CrossOver Games" and "drive_c". So, it's:

~/Library/Application Support/Crossover Games/Bottles/<bottle name>/drive_c/Program Files/Steam

do i drag and drop the dowloaded zip files into the steam folder?
