Terrible preformance on nvidia gt 630M

I'm getting terrible preformance and broken models on my nvidia based laptop. The laptop has a nvidia optimus setup and bumblebee seems to be working great otherwise. I'm getting 1-2fps on the nvidia card using the proprietary drivers, while getting approx 40fps on intel integrated graphics. Has anyone else had this problem? Are there any fixes?
