Almost there, but two problems.

It installs just fine from Stardock Central, and it runs and looks great. Two problems: the main interface font does not seem to be supported, as it doesn't fit the boxes and is often full of gibberish, and the game tends to crash a lot, seemingly at random. But it is playable.

In most cases, the font is readable in the Linux version of Crossover Games 7.1.0. I do know that some of the tooltips are complete garbage, but that was introduced with version 7.1.0. In earlier versions, the tooltip text is at least partially legible. The other text is rendered properly, though it doesn't render line breaks properly.

As for the crashes, they seem to be random in the circumstances that cause them, but the crashes can be replicated if it occurs right after you save (on the same turn).

I rated it Bronze, because it seems to crash more often in the newer version, but it could just be bad luck.

I tried installing the Core Fonts from Crossover, but to no effect. Any idea how to solve the font issue manually?

I have no idea, to be honest. It could be a difference in Mac and Linux versions, or perhaps it's your configuration. I wouldn't know, as I don't use a Mac.

While I could not get the default game link to run, I was able to start up the program successfully using the Task Manager, and even was able to read the menus and start a game. The problem occurred when the game was actually about to start, then all of crossover crashes. I have OS X 10.5.4, and was running my original GalCiv2 CD from when I had a pc. While I love my mac and will never buy a PC again, GalCiv2 is my all time favorite game and is not supported. <tear> I hope that they will eventually be able to work all this stuff out, because I am dying to purchase the Twilight or the Arnor expansion, but I can't justify it until I know that it will work.
