i got the game to in stall but the video only runs when i drag another window over it any ideas?

Did you install using the crosstie profile provided? Which
version of Crossover Games are you using? What video chipset
is your Mac fitted with?

I can second that the GOG version does not appear to work/install correctly either via cross tie or normal install.
I'm running Lion and the most up to date Crossover version on a 3 year old iMac (ATI 2600HD Video card)
