Unload debugger? [Solved]

Sorry if I'm missing somthing obvious, but I've just aquired Crossover and was wondering if I could play Freelancer. So, I tried, installing Freelancer using my install cd (v1, Legal). It installed without problem, however, when I tried to start the game a message saying "Unload the debugger and try again" popped up. After clicking the ok button, the message closes and freelancer does not start. I've already tried to use Wine to play Freelancer but when I run it using that, a no 3d video card error pops up and the game dosn't start. I'd love to play Freelancer again and some advice would be nice. Thanks.
Oh, details. Lets see...
Running: iMac Os x (10.6.4)
Crossover: 10.1.1 (demo atm)

If you're missing something, it is this -- avoid game software on
CD/DVD media if the disc is protected by DRM (copy protection) ;
a good many don't work in crossover/wine, and even less on the
mac due to apple's scsi driver design -- that error message is
indicative of such disc based DRM mechanisms... ergo the following
applies here...;

Cheers!

ps: please do not double/cross post issues into the General Forum(s),

posting is generally frowned upon in all online forums.

Thanks.
And sorry about the double posts. I was kinda desperate for a responce.
Anyway, is there any was around this protection? As stated, I have a perfectly legal copy, and I would love for my mac to be able to run it. Would Virtualbox or some-such windows emulator be the only way? Come to think of it, why does this game have a silver rating? Is everyone using pirated copys of Freelancer? The first link states that downloadable versions of games work better. But Freelancer, being a game from 2002, was never (legally) released for download. And after reading that second link, I get the impression that some kind of a crack for the .exe is required, but Dosn't Crossover create apps from game installers? Would I need to somehow make the installer use a cracked exe?
Thanks again for the responce, I'll stop posting in the other sections for freelancer related questions.

Ok, I got it to start (using a new .exe), but now it freezes in the title screen... Advice?
