Seems to work fine if you use the MSI installer

For viewing pdf files it appears to work perfectly on Crossover Office 7.1 as long as you use the msi installer. It will fail to install if you use the .exe installer though. I have not tested anything other than opening pdf files, scrolling to the previous/next page, using pageup/pagedown to go to a different page, and going to a specific page with ctrl-shift-N.

using the standalone version is an option, too.
